Nissan Radiation Checks
Following the March tsunami and resulting radiation leaks within the Fukushima Daiichi No.3 nuclear reactor, Nissan has implemented radiation testing for all vehicles prior to release from factories and shipment overseas. Per Nissan:
"Radiation checks at Japanese factories have become standard operating procedure in the wake of the crisis at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, with automakers looking to ensure 100 percent safety for staff and consumers."
