2011 Infiniti G Sedan Press Kit: At a Glance

In what is clearly the biggest year ever in the history of the popular Infiniti G Sedan, the lineup of available models expands for 2011 to include a new 2.5-liter V6-equipped G25 Sedan and two uniquely equipped versions of the G37 – the G37 Sedan Sport Appearance Edition and G37 Sedan Limited Edition. With both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variations of each available, the total number of dynamic 2011 Infiniti G Sedan offerings to choose from is now 10.

With the new G25 Sedan, Infiniti broadens the appeal of the G Line with a model designed to provide an additional choice for buyers looking for a true luxury sedan, but who might not need the higher levels of performance provided by the larger engine-equipped G37 models. The G25 is positioned in the heart of the luxury sport sedan market, bringing Infiniti’s Inspired Performance to a wider selection of buyers.

The new 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan shares the same dynamic exterior, interior and chassis as the G37, but with a smaller displacement engine. The 2.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 produces 218 horsepower and 187 lb-ft of torque. The G25 Sedan

comes with a standard 7-speed automatic transmission and is available in both rear-wheel drive and intelligent all-wheel drive. Three G25 Sedan models are offered: G25 Sedan, G25 Sedan Journey and G25x Sedan AWD.

The G25 Sedan’s extensive list of standard equipment includes leather-appointed seating, Shodo aluminum interior trim, 8-way power driver’s seat and 4-way power front passenger’s seat, Automatic Temperature Control, premium audio system with six speakers, XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and much more. Other standard G25 Sedan features range from 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and High Intensity Discharge (HID) xenon headlights to 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control System (TCS).

The 2011 G37 Sedan continues to offer a standard 328-horsepower 3.7-liter VVEL (Variable Valve Event & Lift) V6 and 7-speed automatic transmission or available 6-speed manual transmission, as well as with an advanced Infiniti Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system.

The G Sedan’s strikingly seductive exterior continues to be defined by its sleek wave-form hood, signature G-style taillights, raked A-pillars and athletic stance. Inside, the G37 Sedan offers a crafted interior environment and luxury features such as standard leather-appointed seating and an available audiophile-quality Infiniti Studio on Wheels® by Bose® premium audio system, which combines Bose®’s 3-way front door speaker array with 10-inch subwoofers and a parcel shelf-mounted subwoofer.

Advanced G Sedan technologies include standard Infiniti Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition and available RearView Monitor and Intelligent Cruise Control with Preview Braking.

The available Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System (G37 Sedan models only) includes features such as XM NavTraffic® with Real-Time Traffic Information and NavWeather™ with Real-Time Weather and 3-day forecast (XM® subscription required, sold separately), Streaming Audio via Bluetooth® and Zagat® Restaurant Guide. Other navigation system features include a Infiniti’s Voice Recognition for audio and navigation systems, as well as a 9.3GB Music Box® Hard Drive.

The G37 Sedan Sport 6MT model features a number of unique equipment features beyond its close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission, including split 5-spoke 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with W-rated summer performance tires, Sport Brakes, Sport-tuned Suspension, 14:1 Sport-tuned steering gear, Viscous Limited-Slip Differential (VLSD), unique sport front fascia and headlights, unique sport side sills, front sport seats, aluminum pedals and footrest and more.

The new G37 Sedan Sport Appearance Editions (rear-wheel and all-wheel drive) start with the long list of G37 Sedan Journey equipment (including RearView Monitor, heated front seats, heated outside mirrors, Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control, HomeLink® Universal Transceiver, auto on/off headlights and 8-way power front passenger seat) and add a front chin spoiler, rear decklid spoiler, uniquely designed 9-spoke 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, power moonroof, Infiniti Studio on Wheels® by Bose® Premium Audio System, 2.0GB Music Box® (800 MB for music storage) and more.
